CELEBRATE ALL THE WET DOGS !

Since the launch of Absurd Design's Wetsuit/Neoprene dog collars last year,  your donations have raised a fantastic amount for Coral Restoration Foundation. 

This year I have chosen to support and raise money for another ocean charity, Oceana (https://oceana.org/)  : "an international organisation focused solely on oceans, dedicated to achieving measurable change by conducting specific, science-based policy campaigns with fixed deadlines and articulated goals." 

This organisation are making waves (excuse the pun) and making a real difference for the future of our oceans. 

For every Neoprene dog collar or Up-cycled Poop Bag Holder/Treat Dispenser sold, 50p will be donated to help support their causes and help them succeed in more victories such as their recent grassroot effort with Canada becoming the first G20 country to ban the trade of shark fins in its borders.

As a small business, I encourage the up-cycling of materials that may end up in landfill while creating unique and stylish dog products that last. It's important to me to make handmade products you know have been created with your dog in mind,  compared with huge corporations making cheap dog products on a mass scale.  This video by Oceana shows the extent that plastic production over the years has affected our oceans and I think it shows that we need to rebel against those mass market companies and support local!
