What is a martingale collar?

A buckle martingale is an ideal training collar for dogs that pull too much or back out of their collars. Excellent when lead training a puppy and a safe and gentle way of having greater control over your excited dog.

Correct sizing for a Martingale Collar is especially important

When buying an Absurd Martingale you will need to measure your dog's neck to have the collar made to fit. Properly measured, this comfortable collar will hang loose until the dog pulls and then tighten to provide the safety of a non slip collar.

Note: Martingale collars are designed for training and leash walking so remove when your dog is in the house and/or playing. They should not be left on unattended or unleashed dogs.

For your dog's safety, attach ID tags to the metal slide of the large loop not the d-ring on the small loop.

Every leather product is made from veg tanned russet leather and traditionally hand stitched finished with waterproofing natural beeswax. All Neoprene dog collars are silk screen printed with water based ink.
